I am baking muffins right now.
I have to go meet with Jake’s teacher today. I am NOT looking forward to it. I have a knot in my stomach.
I know exactly what she is going to say, I know exactly what I am going to say. At the end we will not agree and she will not change anything. She will think I am an idiot mother and I will think she is an idiot teacher. This is going to be great. We are just trying to get through this year, we are almost done. I can see the home stretch. It is almost Spring and in my world that means school is almost over! At the end of this month we will find out if Jake got into a new school. It is a lottery system. Way too stressful. Fingers are crossed. But today I have to go and hear all the weird things my child does. What he refuses to do. Nod my head. Come home and tell Jake, YOU ARE AWESOME.
But until then I am going to eat a lot of these banana muffins.

UGH. How frustrating! I used to hate dealing with teachers like that and a big big reason why i chose to homeschool.
I hope you are able to get your son into the school you want.

AWW! I get it! Hate those meetings too. Just makes me want to homeschool after I go to meetings like that (and we all know how I love when my kids leave for school. LOL!) I’m ready for Summer too…
