Rainbow Brite Review

rainbow brite pic

When I heard that Rainbow Brite was making a comeback, I was like “Oh Yeah!”

I loved Rainbow Brite as a kid. Rainbow Bright, Strawberry Shortcake, and Wonder Twins are some of my favorite memories of being a kid. Now my daughter has had the chance to get to know Rainbow Brite. Sure, she looks a little different from before, but she is still fun! Chloe loves playing the Rainbow Brite games on the computer. She just loves saying Rainbow Brite, Tickled Pink, and Moonglow. Don’t get me started on their horses, Chloe is in love with them, and has named most of her stuffed animals Starlite, Shimmer, and Sunriser.

I have passed out some Rainbow Brite CDs to my friends and they were thrilled! They had a blast playing the games.

I am giving away two Rainbow Brite CDs. Just leave me a comment with your favorite cartoon from when you were a kid! I will choose two from Random.org

e.l.f. Makeup Review

I am in Heaven! I have been getting all kinds of compliments the last couple of weeks! WoooHooo! Who wouldn’t feel great! I am telling everyone I know about e.l.f. makeup! That is what I have been using the last couple of weeks, and it is the only change that I have made. So, I KNOW all of the compliments are totally because of them. e.l.f. is my new BFF of makeup!

What I love is that I really didn’t change alot. Just added a couple of products I didn’t normally wear. And I could add them right along with my usual make up.

So…the products that I LOVE LOVE LOVE right now are:

Golden Bronzer 3.00

Minty Lip Gloss 3.00

Corrective Concealer 3.00

Do not let these prices fool you! This make up ROCKS! It is affordable and great quality.

I gave away a few of the e.l.f. concealers on my MomTV show. I know Angela is going to LOVE them!

e.l.f. has completely redesigned their website, so make sure you go and check it out. There are some great specials going on over there right now! So don’t wait! Go now! You are going to feel like a kid in a candy store. I am going to order one of the big kits for myself and a mini kit for my daughter for Valentines Day. With two teenage daughters we can never have too much makeup in this house!

Triaminic Flu Tracker

It is that time of year! Oh fun! Flu season!

In my house it seems as if someone is sick all the time through the WHOLE flu season. With four kids, I can hardly keep track of who had what. But I am really liking the Triaminic website right now. There is alot of info. Including a flu tracker chart. Very cool! Even information about when to keep your kids home from school. and tips to help them feel better.

I know we all pretty much know most of that already, but I find that when I’m in the mist of a flu/cold running through my house and I am on little sleep, I can’t remember my name, nevermind when to call a doctor!

Check out the Cool Flu Tracker HERE!

Don’t forget to print your 1.50 coupon!

Who wouldn’t LOVE a Pancake Puff?

I was NOT kidding when I said in my Perfect Brownie Pan post that I LOVE Infomercials! I received the Pancake Puffs Pan from my husband for Christmas. I love all infomercials, but the food ones are my favorite!

We cooked up some sausage and cut it up to put into our Pancake Puffs. We think next time we will cut up some fruit as well. My daughter loves fruit more than anything, and I know that will be fun for her to pick what kind of fruit she wants in hers.

At first it was alittle awkward trying to flip the little puffs. But once my husband got the hang of it, it was pretty easy. Jake thought it was the best thing ever! Pancakes filled with sausage. What could be better for our Sunday morning?

That is what I actually LOVE about these food infomercial products. We may only end up using them a couple of times. But when we DO use them. We have fun. We laugh. We tell remember when stories about them. And sometimes dig them back up from the basement.

Check out the Pancake Puff pan HERE!

I am an As Seen On TV junkie!

I LOVE infomercials! I have ever since I can remember. I can watch the same ones over and over again. My Mom is just like me! So, it was no surprise that she bought me the Perfect Brownie Pan for Christmas. As soon as I opened it we were all cracking up. The big joke is…not only do I love infomercials, I love Brownies. So the first time I, or anyone else I knew saw it on TV, they knew I HAD to have it!

This weekend we decided to finally try out the pan. The kids were so excited to use this thing, you would have thought it was Christmas morning all over again. And that, my friends was THE best thing about it! We had alot of fun making them. But really…the only thing that is different than making them my normal way, was that I didn’t have to cut them. But I don’t know about you, but cutting the brownies isn’t so bad to me. It means I’m one step closer to eating them! It really wasn’t a step that I dreaded or anything.

All in all I actually do really like the Perfect Brownie Pan. The brownies tasted great and my kids did love when you slide the pan down and the brownies were all cut. We had alot of fun while using it. We did not use the decorative stensils that came with it. I am saving that for next time. Although I most likely will not use this every time I make brownies, I am going to bring it out now and then for some fun with the kids.

Moving Picture Books Review

I am pretty lucky right now with my daughter Chloe. She isn’t a TV freak. My son Jake on the other hand is. It is always a struggle to make sure he is watching quality stuff, at least most of the time. Chloe seems to only want to watch shows that she is learning in some way. I have no idea how I got so lucky on this one! But I am enjoying it while it lasts!

I was given the opportunity to review a Moving Picture Books DVD. I actually have been meaning to write this review for awhile…but honestly kept forgetting that we received this video to review. Know why? My daughter has been obsessed with it! It is now like a part of our day most days.

Chloe is four years old. She LOVES to read the words on the screen as they go by. She LOVES the stories. I will be honest. When I first put this DVD on, I was worried it might have moved alittle too slow, or was too mellow for my very energetic kid. But she really wanted to hear each story and watch the words. We would sit together and she liked to say the word faster than me. We made up little games, that we did while she was watching the movie and I was picking up around the house. And that last sentence is key. I was able to pick up my house! The Moving Pictures DVD really got Chloe sitting and thinking. It actually relaxed her after a day of pre-school. She liked to watch it when she got home and unwind. Chloe doesn’t take naps anymore, so having this down time is good for her and me. My son Jake can even show off his reading skills and feels like a big shot when he can read to his sister while they watch. Chloe has pretty much memorized the whole DVD. But her favorite story is Who stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar. Chloe has her fifth birthday coming up in March and I am getting her another Moving Picture Books DVD. Not just for her, but for my sanity as well!

Michael Bublé Crazy Love Review

I have had a CRAZY week! Lots of stress and a ton going on. One morning this week I woke up FREAKING out. I had spilled my coffee all over my night stand. Not a good way to wake up, that’s for sure! Of course I was mad that I spilled the coffee, but what made me really FREAK was my new Michael Bublé CD was on there. I had brought it upstairs to listen to while I was getting ready in the morning. Ever since I had gotten the CD in the mail I have been listening to it while cleaning, making dinner, stuff that I really don’t enjoy doing that much. What a difference it has made! I love “Haven’t Met You Yet”! That song puts me in such a great mood! Michael’s remake of “At This Moment” is absolutely the BEST!

So, let me tell you, I was very happy when I cleaned up all of the coffee and my CD was fine. I now listen to it while I am getting myself ready in the morning. My daughter Chloe sings along to Crazy Love while I am doing her hair for preschool.

Big thanks to One2One Network for giving me the opportunity to review this Michael Bublé CD!

Best Strawberries Ever!!

Last week I got the BEST delivery!

Anyone who knows me know I LOVE all types of sweets. Candy, cake, brownies, pie, you get the picture. So, when I won the Shari’s Berries from the Momactive twitter party, I was like WoooHoo because I knew they were covered in chocolate!

Okay….this is what I got!!

These strawberries REALLY are the BEST chocolate covered strawberries that I have ever eaten! My daughter Chelsea loved the strawberry that was covered in white chocolate and coconut. My whole family LOVED them!

I know that I am totally going to give these as gifts. I’d rather get these strawberries than flowers any day!

Thank you Momactive and Shari’s Berries!
