It is 6pm on Saturday night.  We have spent the whole day prepping for Hurricane Irene.  The yard is cleared out, the house is clean and I have been a baking fool.  Let me tell ya, this weather emergency has lit a fire under my ass and I have been super productive!

My house is clean and organized, all of my laundry is done.  Crock pot meals made. Stock piles of food and water are sorted, and a bunch of flashlights and candles are strategically placed around the house.

Expecting to loose power for a couple of days.  Hopefully not longer, or I will cry.  But we are as prepared as we can get, and have tons of baked goods to help us get through it!

We are ready.  Bring it on.
