Similac Baby Journal iPhone app review

I had some fun this week playing around with the Similac Baby Journal iPhone app. I was having fun thinking back to when my kids were babies. It seems like just yesterday. One of the things I was horrible at was keeping track of their schedules, and also their milestones. I was famous for forgetting their baby book and jotting down their height and weight on a scrap piece of paper and then I could never find it once we got home. When my kids were little we didn’t have smart phones or any of this cool technology. If I had a baby right now, I would probably end up using the Growth section in Journal Entries. I was sort of surprised by the Journal Entries section. I thought there would be more space for you to add notes and maybe just add some miscellaneous information. Random stuff as a Mom you might not want to forget, I do think that would be fun.

I never really tracked any of my kids feeding schedules. But if that’s your thing, this app looks like it would fit the bill. I like the Trends area where you can look at all of your information in chart form. Yes, I am a geek. If I had a baby in the house right now, I would totally check out this app and play around with it. Even if you didn’t need all of the features of the app, there may be a couple that could come in handy. You may really need to track your child’s sleep for some reason, and this app seems pretty easy to figure out when you are sleep deprived. :)

I was compensated by Collective Bias – a Similac partner – for my time to review the Similac Baby Journal App. All opinions are my own
